Personalized Memorial Ornament
I designed this personalized memorial ornament as a special gift for my Aunt who lost the love of her life. I wanted to give her a special and meaningful way to make him a part of her new Christmas traditions as she learns to live beyond his time here with her.
Knowing that her heart is broken here, while he is now in Heaven, I designed the floating hearts to symbolize that while apart for now, their hearts are still with one another. Love like that doesn’t disappear when one person moves on, it grows. Our hearts will always remind us of the love we had for that other person, until we see them again someday!
While I didn’t write the saying, I felt that it beautifully summarizes how we think of our loved ones who have passed on while life and celebrations here still come and go. We don’t forget them. We love them and memorialize them, and this handmade leather Christmas ornament truly reminds us of that special loved one.
When I receive your order, I will hand-make your leather ornament and engrave it with your loved one’s name and dates.
